Hey Folks, Som Sikdar from Dragon Gym, and I want to talk to you today about habit. We know that consistency is a driver of success, however, habit makes consistency a lot easier and automaticity makes habit even easier than that. First I want to talk about what is exactly habit. Habit is when you have a condition, a response, and then a reward, and that response, what you do given certain circumstance, and how you treat yourself after is what a habit is.
What I want you do as homework, is think of ways that you can take common conditions in your everyday life, and change the response in some easy way that will set you up for success, and then you will reward yourself in the same way. And that reward really is something internal, it's some sort of brain psychological response, and it's going to make you feel better about yourself, and give you momentum in all the other things that you're trying to do.
We know training regularly, eating properly all the time, getting your work done on a regular schedule is what makes you successful, what drives you towards personal, professional, and physical success. Here's an example that I think you can do pretty easily, it's a combination of the toe touch, and the pushup. Every morning when you wake up, I want you to touch your toes, and a do a couple pushups, and do that five times.
