We offer age-appropriate martial arts classes for children:

"PRE-SCHOOL" PROGRAM - AGES 3 to 4

This is a class that we've designed for 3 and 4 years olds. It's an age-specific program and often the first time these kids have had a structured learning experience. The goals for this program include improving hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, vocabulary, focus, following verbal commands without visual demonstration, managing emotions, and building good social skills.

"PEE WEE" PROGRAM – AGES 4 to 7

This program is for our Pre-K through early Elementary School-aged children. While learning martial arts in a fun, game-based class we’ll be helping them with following step-by-step instructions, sharing, and listening to teachers. Often, this is one of the first times these children are in a structured learning environment.

Additionally, they are starting to develop more advanced motor control and can perform more complex movements. The classes teach them more advanced techniques, to work with partners and in groups, and to start self-correcting before a teacher tells them to.

This program is further split into "Level 1" and "Level 2" classes to ensure an optimal learning experience for the students. Level 1 is for students that are between 4 and 6 years old and in Pre-K or Kindergarten. Level 2 is for students that are between 6 and 7 years old and are in 1st Grade.

"JUNIOR TRADITIONAL MARTIAL ARTS" PROGRAM – AGES 7 to 14

This program is for children who have been in school for a few years now. The martial arts classes will teach them more about self-defense, bully prevention, and athleticism. These students thrive on structure, clear goals, and healthy competition. They are starting to take on leadership roles, correcting both themselves and providing a positive role model for others.

These students are also on track to develop some independence and exceptional ability in martial arts. Self-defense and athleticism is still a focus, but leadership, self-discipline, and confidence is emphasized. The next step for these students is to earn their junior black belt.

This program is also split into "Level 1" and "Level 2" classes to ensure an optimal balance of challenge and progressiveness for these maturing students. Level 1 is for students that are between 7 and 10 years old and are in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade. Level 2 is for students that are between 10 and 14 years old and are in 5th grade or middle school.
