Dragon Gym was created with one goal in mind, to help you be your best. Your

education, certifications, and decades of combined experience in strength and
conditioning. Whether you are a student athlete looking to boost your level of
performance or an “average Joe” wanting that change in your life the Performance
Lab at Dragon Gym is your answer.
Personal and Group Training Programs offered in the
Performance Lab include:
Health and Fat-Loss
Our strength training program will enable you to lose those unwanted pounds,
gain muscle tone, and improve your overall health and appearance. Let's face it,
most trainers just watch you exercise. If you want to achieve real, long lasting
results, you must do more than exercise your body. You need more. With our
program, you will change your perceptions and attitude about exercise, fitness,
and health. We will not only create the best program of physical exercise for
you, but provide you with the support structure that you need to succeed!
Each and every Friday of the month we will be holding a performance strength and
conditioning group training class. This is a strength and fitness workout
designed for one purpose, to have FUN! It will involve Russian Kettlebells,
Strongman training, Rope and Medicine Ball Training, Plyometrics, Team training
exercises, and much MUCH MORE! So come try it out!
Olympic weightlifting
The Olympic weightlifting program offers a unique
approach to physical training. The highly technical Snatch and Clean & Jerk are
the two primary lifts in competition. Individuals in this program will master
technique and develop physical abilities in order to be successful in
competition. Individuals will be encouraged to compete in local and national
events.
Russian Kettlebell Training
This is a
program designed specific towards Russian Kettlebell Training. Kettlebell
training is rapidly becoming one of the leading ways in strength and fitness
training. Individuals in this program will train to progress to master each Kettlebell technique.
Performance Strength Training
(Level I, II, III, IV)
This
program is for any ex or current athletes who want to stay in shape with the
best possible means, sport performance training! Athletes perform and look
great, why not train like they do.
The tactical preparation program is designed towards
preparing Police, Firemen, and Military personnel for physical testing exams.
Once testing has been completed a program that is designed to maintain as well as
enhance physical test scores will be administered.
Over the
years we have developed numerous tools to enhance our clients' success.
This include techniques manuals, training guides, and accountability journals.

Steve Maze is a graduate of
Bloomsburg University with a degree in Exercise Kinesiology and Sports Science
with a
concentration in Strength and Conditioning. He completed and worked as an Intern
Assistant Strength Coach atDrexel
University’s
Strength and Conditioning Program training, coaching, and instructing 14
Division-I sports teams. He is aCertified
Strength and Conditioning Specialistthrough
theNational
Strength and Conditioning Association,
a certified USA-Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, and a Certified Russian
Kettlebell Challenge Level I Instructor. He currently works as apersonal
trainer,
kettlebell instructor, and strength coach to enhance each aspect of health and fitnessfor
all.
